DAVE
LOVEJOY "Archaos": His first show at Lois
Lambert Gallery. Assemblage boxes and various repurposed mixed
media objects emerge from the unseen beckoning the viewer
to look below the surface. Recycled picture frames,
old projectors, old cameras, misc. medical objects, and arcane
hardware are part of the lost and neglected items that are
recombined into three-dimensional objects. Lovejoy's
objects are tiny worlds that connect the viewer with forgotten
technologies and discarded objects.
